We have spent the unforgettable twelve days in Canada. It was our first visit to this far, and cold country and our first concert out of Europe. We started our journey in Otava. Cold and frozen weather, wide roads, wide meadows and grasslands, a huge space surrounded by the Otava river. Wonderful, dear people loudly sang sevdah together with us in an amazing Bronson Center. Some tears and some smiles, made a mesmerizing ballad of one love, the love of us and our friends. Our love, at the very end of the planet. So far and yet so close when our hearts burn and kiss in sevdah.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

We continued with our sevdah to Toronto, a city of skyscrapers, sapphire lakes, sports, cultural and historical buildings, the pearl of Canada. \u201cDa sam ptica i da imam krila\u2026\u201d echoed in the Glenn Gould Studio, the temple of culture, where the mentioned maestro practiced for years, created and made his music. Just as if we played in Bosnia, in our own small street. We crowned our visit to Ontario by playing sevdah at the Niagara falls, the wonder of nature, the true beauty in every single drop of water which cuts down the stone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We saved Vankuver for the end, hidden behind the snowed lakes and mountains, located on the western edge of this magical country. The smell of the ocean, the song of the seagulls, the forests, the mountain ranges, the cheerful people of all nationalities and skin colours. A complete harmony of life, democracy, peace and love. One true sevdah. All of the tones at the \u201cChrist Church Cathedral\u201d, every single one of them sang about love. The tones that will echo behind us forever, that will whisper gently about one April sevdah, which has sailed in Pacific.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nastavismo sa sevdahom u Torontu, gradu visokih nebodera, safirnih jezera, sportskih, kulturnih i istorijskih zdanja, biseru Kanade. \u201eDa sam ptica i da imam krila…\u201c odjekivalo je u Glenn Gould studiju, hramu kulture gdje je pomenuti maestro godinama vje\u017ebao, muzicirao i stvarao. Kao da svirasmo ku\u0107i, u na\u0161oj Bosni, na\u0161em malenom sokaku. Posjetu pokrajini Ontario krunisasmo sevdisanju na Niagarinim vodopadima, \u010dudu prirode i iskonskoj ljepoti u svakoj kapljici vodene stihije \u0161to slapom kamen sije\u010de.<\/p>\n

Za kraj ostavismo Vankuver, skriven iza snije\u017enih jezera i planina, na samom zapadnom rubu ove \u010darobne zemlje. Miris okeana, pjesma galebova, nepregledne \u0161ume i planinski masivi, vedri i nasmijani ljudi, svih nacija i boja ko\u017ee. Jedna potpuna harmonija su\u017eivota, demokratije, mira i ljubavi. Jedan istinski sevdah. Sve note u \u201eChrist Church\u201c katedrali, ba\u0161 svaka o ljubavi pjeva\u0161e. Note koje \u0107e vje\u010dno da odjekuju iza nas, da nam nje\u017eno \u0161apu\u0107u o jednom aprilskom sevdahu \u0161to u Pacifik odplovi.<\/p>\n

Od sveg srca hvala Mirzi Duraku, Vedranu An\u0111i\u0107u, Adnanu Kapid\u017ei\u0107u, Edinu Kajabegovi\u0107u i svima vama draga raja \u0161to ste bili dio na\u0161e sevdah bajke.<\/p>\n
